Funding Bible Work in Latvia

The Latvian Bible Society (LBS) is one of many that has been affected by the economic crisis, and it is now relying on support from other Societies and individuals to carry on its Bible work in Latvia. In 2012 LBS are running a variety of projects including,
• an Ecumenical Bible Revision in Latvian
• making Scriptures available to all people including those with special needs, the poor, the sick and the elderly
• Scripture portions in Latvian Braille and audio Bibles for those who are visually impaired
• a Bible Exhibition which travels around the country visiting schools, libraries, churches and hospitals.

Pray that financial support would be given so that Bible work in Latvia can continue throughout the economic crisis.
