The Gospels in Spanish Braille for Adults and Children
The Bible Society of Costa Rica, in partnership with the National Foundation for blind people, has been working for many years to bring spiritual support to the marginalised group of people who are blind. This has largely been done through the provision of Scriptures in Braille.
The partnership between the Bible Society of Costa Rica and the Foundation has deepened and now this project is changing to include different aspects. Braille Scriptures appropriate to children are now being produced, which will be placed in different places including libraries and schools. Gatherings of groups to study the Braille Bibles will also take place, and the audio magazine produced by the Foundation will now share information about the Bible in Braille. Alongside this the Bible Society of Costa Rica hopes to increase awareness of job opportunities for those who are blind and to encourage businesses to employ this marginalized group.
Please Pray…
Pray for adults and children who are blind and praise God that his Word comes in a format that they can understand. Ask that they would be able to receive a Braille Bible and would come to know the love of God through reading his Word.
