Impacting the World in 2012

 

 ...by working to achieve the most effective translation, publication, and distribution of the Bible in all the languages spoken today.   

 

During 2012, the Bible Society in Northern Ireland is supporting 34 Scripture projects in 32 countries. These projects include working on the translation of the Bible into different languages; distributing God’s Word to people in churches, schools, hospitals and prisons; providing holistic support to people, encouraging them through the comfort found in the Scriptures; giving the Bible to people in a format that they understand, whether written, audio or visual; promoting Bible Literacy through literacy classes, audio Bibles, listening groups and Braille Bibles.
